Right now I am hosting a Saturday and Sunday old fashioned, totally unplugged jam session in the Garden of Neptune’s Retreat in Port Aransas, Texas. These jam sessions coinside with Joe’s Grill. He will cook your meat to order and there is also a free potato bar provided. We are starting to get some pickers and singers showing up to join in the fun. I get there around 4pm and get things set up and we play till around 8pm sometimes later than that. Check your calendars and if you are free come on over and join us. If you don’t play or sing you can always shake one of my shakey things. I have a whole bag full of them.
Starting Friday night the 16th of January I will start playing at the Tarpon Ice House, also here in Port Aransas, every other Friday night. Depending upon who’s in town you never know who you might see visiting me there. The Tarpon Ice House is the newest music venue in Port Aransas and it’s a small intimate living room type setting during the winter and a nice tropical like garden setting in the summer. Come on in to check it out.
Willie Night at the Salty Dog – Beginning on Wednesday the 14th of January from 6pm-9pm. Salty Dog also has pool, shuffleboard, video games, wii bowling and some of the coolest dogs on the Island. Come join in the fun at the Salty Dog.
